A New Concept
|
Arrueiro Rural Guest House continues welcoming guests… now with a fresh new look and updated décor. We’ve preserved many of the antique pieces from the house, blending them with modern lighting, textiles, and decorative details for a fresher, contemporary feel. After a few years of being closed, we reopened the restaurant with a new concept, combining tradition with creativity.

Also on the ground floor is the restaurantThe dining room serves breakfast (included with your stay) as well as a six-course tasting menu for lunch and dinner – available to both house guests and external visitors.
Upstairs, the house has 7 double rooms, all with private bathrooms.
Adjacent to the main house are a couple of stone cottages housing: 1 accessible double room for guests with reduced mobility (O Cabanote), 1 independent two-storey apartment (Casa de Canto) and the Biloba craft workshop. de Biloba.
The property also features a charming outdoor area with centuries-old stone slabs and a dreamlike garden with a threshing yard (eira) and 2 traditional granaries (hórreos).
We are Luisa and Victor
Some time ago, we began to envision a dream: to combine our passions – cooking and bringing warmth and wellbeing to others. We wanted to do it in the rural heart of the Costa da Morte, close to home, surrounded by nature and tranquillity, in a truly beautiful and charming setting.
They say you should be careful what you wish for, because it might come true… and in our case, it did. At Arrueiro, we’ve found the place where we can share what we hope to give to the world: experiences that bring calm and inspiration, nourish body and soul, and help create memorable moments.
