These GTC are complemented by the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy, which must be fully accepted by users of the Website prior to completing any purchase. Once accepted, they shall be considered an integral part of these GTC for all legal purposes.

By making a reservation through the Website, you automatically accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.

The booking of any service implies full and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of these GTC, without prejudice to the acceptance of any specific conditions that may apply when purchasing certain services.

ARRUEIRO may modify these conditions provided there are valid reasons to do so, duly informing users, and without such modification affecting contracts that are in force at that time.

The services offered are intended exclusively for natural persons of legal age and legal entities, considered “consumers” or “users” under the applicable legislation.

GENERAL INFORMATION

ARRUEIRO offers a place of peace and relaxation in the authentic Costa da Morte countryside. A stay full of memorable experiences designed to be enjoyed with all five senses.

The architecture of a traditional Galician farmhouse, combined with the rustic charm of carefully restored vintage furniture, transports you to the heart of authenticity. Modern comforts and fresh, contemporary décor add a touch of elegance and style.

ARRUEIRO goes beyond the typical stereotype of a traditional Galician rural house and offers a warm and welcoming space where guests feel truly at home. A peaceful and friendly atmosphere that evokes the feeling of comfort and relaxation – just like being at home. The house offers 7 double rooms, 1 accessible room for guests with reduced mobility, and a two-storey apartment, all with private bathrooms.

ARRUEIRO is located in Soesto, a quiet rural area in Costa da Morte, just 4 km from Laxe.

The fresh air of the chestnut forest, the sound of the stream running beside the house and the birdsong create a beautiful natural setting that invites guests to reconnect with the essence of life.

Just a few kilometres away you will find unspoilt beaches, traditional architecture, and well-known hiking routes such as the Camiño dos Faros and the Celtic Way (Vía Céltica), as well as many quiet trails that allow visitors to rediscover the beauty of simple and authentic experiences.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

- Check-in time is from 16:00n to 20:00hC heck-out time is until 12:00h.If you are unable to arrive within this time frame, please contact us in advance at +34617749636 so we can arrange key handover (we have an external key box with a code).

– Breakfast is included in all accommodations and is served from 09:30h to 11:00h in the restaurant dining room.

– Only Casa de Canto and O Cabanote accommodations include a TV. In the rest of the rooms, TV is available only upon request (subject to availability).

– Smoking is not allowed inside the house or rooms, but it is permitted outdoors.

– To respect the rest and tranquility of other guests, please avoid noise after 00:00h at night.

BABIES AND CHILDREN

No cots or extra beds are provided in any of the rooms. Babies and children up to 11 years old may sleep in existing beds only in some rooms; please ask us!

The Casa de Canto apartment is designed for family stays and has capacity for 2 adults + 1 or 2 children.

PETS

For the respect of other guests, pets are only allowed in Casa de Canto and O Cabanote accommodations, located in independent cottages. An extra cleaning fee applies.

Pets are not allowed inside the main house.

ROOM CLEANING SERVICE

In order to provide a comfortable experience while respecting the environment and promoting responsible use of resources, we offer a room cleaning service only upon guest request (by leaving a green or red sign on the door), which varies depending on the length of stay, as defined below:

– Stays of 1 to 2 nights: no cleaning or bed making is provided.

– Stays of 3 to 4 nights: bed making and light cleaning may be provided only on the 2nd morning (not daily), upon request. Towels left on the floor or in the bathtub will be replaced. Bed linen is not changed.

– Stays of 5 nights or more: bed making and light daily cleaning may be provided, and towels left on the floor or in the bathtub will be replaced, upon request.

– From 6 nights onwards: approximately halfway through the stay, a full cleaning service with bed linen and towel change is offered, upon request.

*The Casa de Canto apartment is designed for greater privacy and independence, so cleaning services work differently here compared to the main house: no daily cleaning or bed making is provided. If clean towels are needed during the stay, they can be replaced upon request. For stays of 6 nights or more, a linen change can be arranged halfway through the stay.

RESTAURANT

We serve lunch and dinner exclusively as a 6-course tasting menu (we do not have an à la carte menu). The dishes in the menu change according to market availability and seasonality.

The restaurant is also open to non-resident guests. It has limited seating capacity and is usually quite busy, so we recommend booking as early as possible if you wish to make a reservation. Reservations can be made by calling the restaurant directly at +34617747206.

*Restaurant opening hours vary depending on the season. We also have certain closing days throughout the year for staff rest. Please check with us in advance.

PRICES

The prices of the services shown on our website are indicated in euros (€) and include the applicable taxes and their corresponding breakdown, unless otherwise stated.

No payment will be charged at the time of booking; a credit card is requested only as a booking guarantee.

According to its commercial policy, ARRUEIRO may apply price variations, discounts or special offers based on customer loyalty, the purchase of certain services or other circumstances determined by ARRUEIRO. However, such discounts are offered voluntarily by ARRUEIRO and cannot be requested or demanded by the customer.

Payment Methods

The following payment method is available:

Credit or Debit Card
To provide greater security for credit card holders, cards include a three-digit security code (CSC) used as an identification code to verify the physical presence of the card during online transactions. This three-digit code appears on the back of your card, immediately after the card number in the signature area. In order to prevent fraudulent transactions, ARRUEIRO reserves the right to request this security code from customers before confirming a reservation.

Credit card fraud is a criminal offence. ARRUEIRO will take legal action against any person who makes fraudulent transactions on our website.

ARRUEIRO monitors each transaction and will use all legal means available to ensure that individuals who make fraudulent reservations are prosecuted by the relevant authorities.

MAKING A RESERVATION

Reservations are made through the external website https://booking.avirato.com owned by AVIRATO SL (for more information on the processing of your data, please consult their privacy policy: https://avirato.com/politica-de-privacidad/). However this
does not affect these General Terms and Conditions, which shall continue to govern the relationship between ARRUEIRO and the user.

Admission

Once a reservation has been confirmed, the customer will receive a document specifying: the name, type and category of the establishment, the full final price of the accommodation, check-in and check-out dates and any other agreed conditions. The information relating to the final price will comply with the applicable regulations.

This document, once signed by the customer, shall constitute valid proof for all legal purposes.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 14 days before the check-in date. If the reservation is cancelled within 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts related to:

The supply of accommodation services for purposes other than residential housing, transport of goods, vehicle rental, catering services or leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Jurisdiction

If the contracting party is a consumer or user, the parties submit, for the resolution of disputes arising from these terms and conditions, to the civil courts corresponding to the consumer’s place of residence, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
