Charming accommodation
Capacity for 18-20 guests (8 double rooms + 1 apartment), ideal for multi-day retreats, group stays, or intimate weddings where privacy and a home-like atmosphere are essential. It also allows you to host your entire event in one place—from preparations to the final moments of rest at the end of the day.
Gastronomy with identity
On-site restaurant and dining room with capacity for up to 20 guests (expandable to 35 guests). Our cuisine can be adapted to each event, always preserving the essence of local, seasonal, and authentic flavours.
Flexible common space
A warm and welcoming space featuring the original fireplace of the house, adaptable to different needs: yoga or meditation sessions, workshops, talks, presentations, or relaxed social gatherings and cocktails.
Outdoor spaces in nature
The house blends seamlessly into its surroundings. A traditional eira (courtyard) beside the forest offers the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies, intimate weddings, group activities, or nature-based experiences.

What types of events can be hosted at Arrueiro?
At Arrueiro we host retreats and group stays (yoga, meditation, mindfulness, personal growth, astrology…) , creative and educational workshops (crafts, ceramics, music, dance, photography, writing…), group gatherings (wine or beer tastings, gastronomic experiences, food pairings…), small-scale corporate events, and intimate weddings or special celebrations in small groups.

What is the maximum capacity for accommodation and events?
We can accommodate up to 18–20 guests overnight. The house offers a total of 8 double rooms and 1 apartment.
For daytime events (without overnight stay), capacity may vary depending on how the spaces are used, so we recommend getting in touch with us to discuss your specific idea.
Can weddings be celebrated at Arrueiro?
Yes! Arrueiro is the perfect setting for intimate weddings in Costa da Morte or slow weddings in a small, relaxed format (up to 35 guests).
If you are looking for a venue near Laxe for a laid-back, characterful celebration away from traditional wedding halls, we would love to hear from you. The house allows you to host your entire wedding in one place: getting ready at the house, photo sessions, an outdoor ceremony beside the forest, cocktails indoors or outdoors, and a gastronomic proposal tailored to your event (up to 35 guests), all without the need for travel on the day. On-site accommodation is available for 18–20 guests, allowing you and your closest family or friends to stay and fully enjoy the experience.
Do you offer menu options for retreats or groups with special dietary requirements?
Yes, we can design our culinary offering to accommodate special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.) as well as different service formats such as breakfast, half board, or full board.
We are also open to adapting the dining experience according to the type of event: from informal standing cocktails or light bites to more elaborate seated meals in the dining room, always ensuring coherence with the group and the nature of the gathering, while staying true to the identity of our cuisine.
Do you have outdoor spaces for activities?
Yes, the house is surrounded by nature and offers private outdoor areas. In front of the restaurant there is a terrace area, ideal for cocktails or informal gatherings. We also have a traditional stone-paved courtyard (eira) next to a small forest of chestnut and oak trees, a perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies, yoga or meditation sessions, rituals, and other group activities in nature.
Just a few kilometres from the house you will also find unspoilt beaches and spectacular hiking routes, further expanding the possibilities for shared group experiences.
Can corporate or business events be organised at Arrueiro?
Yes, as long as they are small-scale events for reduced groups, such as team meetings, company gatherings, or team-building sessions seeking a different, calm, and inspiring environment.
¿Se pueden realizar sesiones de fotos o producciones creativas en Arrueiro?
¡Absolutamente! La estética de la casa, su arquitectura tradicional y el entorno natural que la rodea hacen de Arrueiro un espacio ideal para llevar a cabo shootings editoriales, campañas de moda, decoración, lifestyle o proyectos audiovisuales en pequeño formato aquí en Galicia.
La casa está llena de rincones con encanto, texturas y pequeños detalles cuidadosamente integrados que crean una atmósfera cálida, auténtica e inspiradora para fotografía y creación de contenido.
¿Cómo se realizan las reservas para las experiencias programadas?

Hay lugares que simplemente te hacen sentir bien desde el momento en que cruzas la puerta. Arrueiro es uno de ellos. Una casa de labranza gallega de más de 200 años rehabilitada con mimo, donde la piedra centenaria convive con la calidez de los muebles recuperados, la luz de la lareira y los pequeños detalles que hacen que un espacio se sienta tuyo desde el primer instante.
